looks like his town had lots of downed power lines and uprooted trees. about 24000 people in the area didn't have power, and now only 6000 are without power. so maybe we'll hear from him later this week.

i may have lucked out.
while the basement is fucked, the music school itself only got about a foot of water. so my project guitar and it's electronics are floating. but everything else might be ok. who knows about my pedal that's stuck at the post office though. the entire area is still without power and they're cleaning up from the sewage treatment plant shutdown (it became inoperable due to the swells). relatively unscathed in comparison and counting my blessings.
