National Football League 2019

So he lost his cool, ripped dudes helmet off, and conked him with it. Big whoop. Yes, it looked bad. You know what was worse? The guy that helmet speared the guy on the ground earlier in the game. All the hits at the line of scrimmage on just about every play are pretty violent. It's a brutal sport.

How to not get a QB job in the NFL: Don't show up to your scheduled try-out. Instead, hold your own try-out at a high school with a camera crew and accuse the rest of the NFL of "running away".

LOL. Don't act like the NFL was on the level with their surprise try-out/showcase. It was scheduled on a day that most NFL scouts were already scheduled to be somewhere else.

That said, Kaeps amateur hour try out wasn't any more thought out than the NFL's.

Wish we still had Garoppolo - Brady looked like Max Kellerman's imaginary version of him yesterday. In fact, I was disturbed to note that he was having the same issues Peyton Manning did when he was washed up:

- Too much air under deep outs
- Underthrowing receivers who are open past the safety
- Tap dancing in the pocket after just one hit
- Some really eye-poppingly inaccurate throws

And Belichick should have a think about how and why his teams don't seem able to meet the energy level of motivated teams in Q1. This dates all the way back to the AFCCC in Denver that I went to, when I saw the Pats come of out of the tunnel at a leisurely jog and knew it was going to be difficult (it was).

Patriots have their work cut out for them. Luckily, they play in the AFC East.

Ravens are 8-2!

OTOH, it was reported that 'skins tickets were going for under $20 for lower level seats on StubHub. So you got that going for you...which is nice.

I wouldn't go to FedEx if they were paying me to. Maybe a game in September, but not in this cold, it's just miserable then you have to watch them play.

Still have issues at wide receiver and the line. If we can get over those issues, nothing going to stop us.

Everyone getting ready for the Lions at the Skins this weekend? They should have flexed it Thanksgiving so the whole country would be forced to watch it.
