I would go see Paula Hanna based on flyer design alone.

Mark's flyer is 2nd best (needs more enormous cats). 3rd, etc is very distant though.

I still need to take a replacement picture. Maybe today or tomorrow.

Paula Hanna had a whole series of those cat ones. I thought they were great.
 
I usually do everything electronically for my schedule but I wanted to put the School and gig stuff on paper for the last push:

And in there I still have to teach, get kids from school and sleep and whatnot.

ok....I got a 95% on the Bio quiz from Monday. Maintaining a 98% in that class but my ranking is 2/61. I turned in the term paper bio a few days early, have recital rehearsal tonight and poli sci test tomorrow, The meeting with my Poli sci group for next week's town hall went about as expected so hopefully they'll get off their dead asses and get something done. Just pushing along.
 
On other matters, that's a great picture, Mark. You, and the guitar, look terrific.

Do you find the guitar influencing what you play on it? Do you play the Guild differently than the Reverend or the Les Paul?

Thanks! Mrs Wein took it in our backyard.

I do play it differently. The physical nature of the instrument factors a lot into what I do. I was actually using my PRS for the first rehearsal and my teacher told me that it was too aggressive and didn't occupy enough space compared to the Guild. The archtop (being essentially an acoustic guitar) has a bigger sonic footprint for single note lines and comping so I play accordingly. Plus I have to fight the instrument a little bit with the heavier flat wound strings so there is less wanking.
 
Ok. Music history test 2 went well. The two points I lost weee because I forgot to write in movement numbers like a moron. Stuff I actually knew.

ok. Where are we at since last we spoke?

I've had exams in almost every class but no grades yet. Did my Town Hall presentation on Homeless Encampments and that went well. The team leader didn't even show up so I took over and got everything done. figures.

Combo concert was kinda fun with @eloydrummerboy showing up although our bassist was late and there was some mayhem about play order but it ended up going ok.

Tomorrow is my junior recital. I think we're pretty well prepared but I'm still kinda nervous. I'm doing an audio recording for my committee grading but I'm not sure about video.
