Jumping off of swings. I had a park at the end of my street and we had the jumbo swing set, the one in which the three middle swings were hung from 10' or so.
The merry go round was quite close but not a danger when we were younger. We got good air and would land about ten feet away on sand.
When we were older one of my friends actually landed on the merry go round. Stuck the landing between the steel bars...We were scared for about two seconds and then it was on like donkey kong to be the second to land on the merry go round without causing catastrophic damage to our bodies.
We would also try to get someone to do a complete loop on the swing set. We could not get the arc right and the swing and rider would stall then free fall until the chain caught them. I am surprised we did not damage some spinal discs doing that.
Fun stuff that would not be done, nor can it be done today.
