Obviously, just a potato isn't going to do anything.

Materials:​

• One potato (ideally large)
• Two pennies
• Two galvanized nails (zinc-plated nails)
• Three pieces of copper wire
• A very small light bulb or LED light

When you do something half assed, it usually doesn't work.
