I listed the two just south of the shop on State Road 19 because they're only 5 min from the shop if peeps are drinking. There are better hotels in South Bend like the Aloft downtown, it's just a 30 min drive instead.

It's tempting but quite a haul for one day and nothing much else in Indiana to stick around for.
Same goes for Smurfco out in Texas.
Indiana is pretty much Alabama and so is Texas just more people and traffic, lol.
Hopefully we can get something going in the Nashvegas area in the future, +/- 2 hrs away and would be a cant miss for me.
 
I have a prior commitment, but if anyone travelling via Chicago the day before (April 3rd) wants to get together, let me know and I can arrange something. I’ve got a lot of mock crab and model trains so…

I live 15 minutes from the current location and I’ve maybe been there 4-5 times, same for the old location. There is too much stuff in there, it’s overwhelming in a way. I bought my Stratocaster from the original CME honcho in 1990. In those days he was selling guitars out of his loft. Even that was overwhelming, he had cases stacked to the ceiling and piles of 70’s Strats and Teles all over the place.
