What's the general plan? Looks like a 4 hour drive for me, so I'll probably come up early and spend the night at a hotel. Anyone else coming in early? I think there are a few people meeting up in Chicago early, no?

Well, Fvck you! I'm still coming on Saturday.I just turned down a Friday April 3rd paid gig to be available for you bastitches that are going to be in town that night.![]()

Cant say anything about the rooms, but we go to the first floor bar and the rooftop lounge occasionallyHmm - I may actually end up taking the train! Apparently, Elkhart has an Amtrak station. It'd be about six- or seven-hour trip. It's looking like I probably will come in on Friday night, but it'd be after nine (you guys are on EDT, right?)
Hotel Elkhart downtown has a pretty cool old-timey vibe and is only a few bucks more than the Holiday Inn Express (I've stayed in bunches of those when the kids were playing soccer!) Lemme know where you all are staying - I'll make reservations depending.
Looks like they don't have free parking, so that's out for me.Hmm - I may actually end up taking the train! Apparently, Elkhart has an Amtrak station. It'd be about six- or seven-hour trip. I guess I’ll just slum it at the HIE with the hoi polloi!Looks like they don't have free parking, so that's out for me.

Need me to pick you up?Well - I went and did it. I'm going old school! My train arrives in Elkhart at 9:29 on Friday and departs 8:43 on Sunday. There weren't a lot of choices, and it ain't cheap, but maybe on the way home I can sell an electric guitar to an Amish family...![]()
