Well you've currently got a forum with what, 10 -15 members who make 99% of all the posts? I come and read some of the forums because I take lessons from Mark. But I rarely post because it's just not worth dealing with the BS holier than thou attitude posts from certain members. The excuse is always "its all in good fun" or "that's just *name*).

But newer people don't have the time or inclination to learn who we should allow to be dicks because they have 10,000+ posts and hang out here all fucking day.

Sorry for the rant, most of the members do seem very cool. There are just a few that really make this place not worth posting.

I just hope that someday we can live in a place where new people can call people jackasses and tell people to stick guitars up their asses and are welcomed like the heroes they are.

Being still a noob by the fourm's standards, I can say that some of what is being said here is true. Now, Snappy should've been more respectful and could have stayed out of the thread if he knew he didn't like the guy, but lots of people could do the same and others would say "Oh well that's just how he is.." I've seen a few people that I recognized from other forums post one thread on here, they get completely shot down, then never come back.

Personally, i'm used to how internet forums work, especially small ones like this, and even I just had to go away for a couple days here and there after seeing some replies I got. Again, like the other guys, i'm REALLY not trying to be a jackass and call people out, but since it's already being said I figured I should share my thoughts.

I'm not saying act the new guys like they're special people and try not to offend them in every way possible, just...give them a little bit to get acclimated to the place. People here are so used to each other they can kid around and new people might take the same reply as not being welcome.
