I would rather see “……” reunite more than GNR…

Someone might be able to get a Hammond to sound like Lord, but you are right, Kath was the soul of Chicago.

Add me to the Black Crowes camp.
Also Triumph.
No interest in a probable $250 ticket to see most of GnR. I've seen Slash and Duff (and Matt) with Velvet Revolver - awesome show with a better frontman (RIP) than Axl.

Dwight Yoakum and Pete Anderson.

they were great together.....not so much apart.

there, i said it.

That's your opinion and I can't strip it from you..

Dwight has done some pretty good stuff after him and Pete split,(if that's what it's called),.. I respectfully suggest that an honest listen would be required..

I'll just say,Blame The Vain and 3 Pears...

Edit...Yoakam......

Big Country (if Stuart was alive)
INXS (if Michael was alive)
Oh man.

Two of my heroes. It occurred to me during rehearsal the other night, just how many of the guys responsible for the music we play are no longer with us.
Very sad.

Add to your list:

The Clash
Wall of Voodoo
Oingo Boingo
Men at Work
AFOS
Talk Talk
Madness
Squeeze
Television
Japan
Stray Cats
The Go Go's
Divynls

And a bunch more.

ummm......the guys in the Stray Cats are all still alive. just sayin'

Jimi Hendrix....however....is definitely not with us anymore.

Even if all four Beatles were still alive, I doubt the magic would be there in their reunion. Even before the death of John Lennon they had all (naturally) changed and grown. I don't think having them back together would have produced anything that special.

Wish the Ramones could reunite. I wish Black Sabbath could reunite for real.
I wish Lemmy was still alive so I could see Motörhead one last time.
Fuck I would rather watch paint dry than watch a Guns N Roses reunion
Or a Brady Bunch and Partridge Family reunion special.

My initial answer, The Specials.
Or Miles Davis's "Kind of Blue" era quintet.

I can't really think about any current, living broken up bands that I would want to see reunite, as they have either a) already done so, and couldn't keep it together, or b) are mostly WAY past their prime.

If we include those we could bring back from the dead that I never saw live:

1) Queen, and I still kick myself for not seeing them on the Magic tour when I had the chance :facepalm: ;
2) Zeppelin (although I don't know if I could stomach them live from what recordings I've seen/heard);
3) The "classic" Yes lineup - although I did attend one of the "Union" tour shows , I would have loved to have seen either the "Fragile" era lineup with Bruford/Wakeman, or circa "CTTE" or "GFTO" eras with White/Wakeman.
4) Zappa/Vai/White et al...
5) The Who circa 1971
6) Yeah, the Beatles

I miss the Ramones :(

Yup, not all of the bands in my list have lost a member in that regard. Many of them have though.
WAIIIIT a minute..Wall of Voodoo? I thought my man Stan Ridgeway was still here...
Stan is alive and kickin' Bruce Moreland (guitar) and Joe Nannini (drums) are dead.
