Whoops. Was gonna jag tude with that but decided she would take me the wrong way and I decided not to. I was trying to link to a photobucket photo and that musta still been in my clipboard. :embarrassed:

This is what I meant to post.

Uh huh....doing a little online shopping are we? Hmmm?? stirthepot munch0

When she was talkin about doin vice, I just had a funny image in my head and that came pretty close to it is all. But like I said, I thought the better of it, in case she took me the wrong way.
A) Can't see most pics

B) Since when do I get my feelings hurt?

I didnt think it would hurt your feelings. It's a hawt chick in a short cop costume. I was gonna make a joke about you doin vice like that but then I thought "eh, she might think I'm making a crack about her bein hot or whatever" so I didnt post it. I didnt think it would hurt your feelings at all. I know you can handle yourself. cop0

It's actually a very flattering picture, IMO.

OK, NOW I AM PERTURBED!!!

I am trying to find a pizza place in this area that will make me a pizza with spinach, mushrooms and pepperoni, and there is none to be had.

Sometimes I hate living in the boonies...other times I love being out in the quiet, but man I miss getting good food whenever I want it, and I blame you Chilhi, for giving me this craving. cop0

Just doing my job. But it was warren that got the spinach pizza, so it isnt completely my fault. smi

What is the hang up Mrs P? Gotta be the spinach i would guess. Maybe take some with you, order the pizza and hand them the spinach to put on it. biggrin

We don't actually have many non-chain pizza places. Most of the shitty places around here don't realize that pizza can be topped with something other than pepperoni and sausage.

I've got two or three locally owned pizza places within a couple of blocks of work that I'm gonna call around and try to lay hands on a spinach, pep, & shroom pie before the end of the day though. :embarrassed:

Thats insane. I have so many pizza places around my house it isnt even funny. There have to be at least 15-20 that deliver to my house, and most people wont deliver more than 2 or 3 miles away.

if you can't find one that will....get a pepperoni and mushroom pizza....then sauté some frozen chopped spinach in a little olive oil and garlic and add it to the pizza afterwards....not as good as having it cooked with the pizza but would still be pretty good!

The only thing within 2-3 miles of our house is cow pastures.

+1 AOK (except for the no pizza part)....

I grew up in a farming area, our house was on a 22 acre hay field, directly across the highway from the Alaska state fairgrounds. At the time Palmer, the nearest town, was TINY. Moving to SoCal was a culture shock, i tell you.

There are parts of country life that i miss.

I feel like I live in a tiny little city as it is. I couldnt stand to be in the middle of nothing but cow pastures.

I hesitate to call the town that we live in a city (about 120k people) but I think it's just about the right size for me. Plus, we live on the other side of town from the University so we pretty much don't even know it's here. That being said, if I could be living in this size town on the OTHER SIDE OF THE BORDER, I'd be all set.

I have to ask, why would you prefer the USA to Canada?

Well, generally because it's home. You live there for 25 years and move away...you just miss certain things. Like family...not being taxed to death...not seeing French everywhere you turn...warm weather...stuff like that. Plus, being in a University town, the folks here are WAAAAAAAAAY liberal. Not to turn this political at all, and I'm not a fascist myself, but I can only stomach so much, you know? I'd also like my daughter (and God willing a second child someday) to experience that part of their heritage and not just through stories from Dad.

Not to mention my in-laws are really grinding my gears lately with their surprise visits.
