Awesome guitars. I followed a bunch of your build threads over on the LP forum. Really incredible stuff. You have some real guitar making talent. I'm lucky if I can change my strings.

ha ha, thanks Tiltsta

nice guitars Mark and thanks....

Far left and center, the non-gibson headstocks are my builds :thu:

wow! How do they sound compared to your "Gibson" LP's? Any chance of recreating one of your build threads here? At least the bits of the process? I'd love to feature something like that on the front page....

Thats beautiful, too...is that one of the newer style LP's? It looks to have the Neutrik input jack...

Yes, it is one of the new standards. I really love the new features, but they are certainly not for everyone.

I really haven't tried one beyond the NAMM show. All of the newer ones that my students bring in are Historics for some reason.

Beautiful guitars!...congrats on the self builds too..they look superb. I'm still very much in the honeymoon stage with my gold top:

they sound pretty nice actually...

the sunburst is built out of cedar and aspen. this was my first build and i wanted to build as cheap as possible while i learned. it has GFS PAT's in it and sounds nice. just a bit brighter than your average LP. nothing that can't be corrected with the tone knob...

the flamed red is my latest and one i am quite proud of. it has a SD '59 in the bridge and an SD Jazz in the neck... great sounding guitar. looking to get some clips recorded soon...

as far as recreating the build thread, i guess i could try... the build threads were quite long, but give me some time to think about it and figure out how i could do it easily... i have all the HC html pages saved so i would like to try to figure out someway to quickly post instead of actually re-creating it all...

Thats pretty sweet. I've been thinking of doing a bolt on build with Warmoth parts but a Les Paul build is mind boggling to me. I just dont have the woodworking skills...

i didn't have many woodworking skills when i started either. in fact i had never used a router.

i just wanted to build so i read and read over at the MLP forums, bought the necessary tools and went for it...

really glad that i did !!!!

That is crazy impressive then. We're doing a group fuzz pedal build here this month but maybe I 'might be inspired to get a guitar build going...
