I just had a truly revolting meal from Wendy's

Time for my long drawn out burger story. My last burger was at a house party on Saturday night. They had a band. My girlfriends Mom picked up 5 Kobe burgers and 5 snappy hotdogs from Jim's butcher for $55 in The Valley. I barbecued them up. Best burgers ever. The band was good too. The singer did Neil Diamond perfectly. The guitarist threw some tasty leads into Sweet Caroline that didnt belong but sounded great. They had a great mix of cover tunes . the girl watching the band was solo dancing up a storm later.

Our small independent burger joint exploded and is now everywhere. Apparently, @baimun is the only other person who like it.

The only thing I don't like about 5 Guys now is the price. I used to be able to get a meal for just under $8, now it's $12.

We do have another good one, Burger Shack. They opened up a couple of years ago and just opened their second location.

Maybe the franchises out in the flyover states are poorly run? I’ve never had a bad meal at any Five Guys here in sweet Virginia.

I had a burger from Carl's Jr. Totally meh.
I was at Red Robin but didn't eat my burger.
They can't get it through their heads "no mayo" means keep that devil sperm away from my food.

Carl's Jr - I ate there once, it was okay but they seem to be overly obsessed with making all the sandwiches HUGE. I like to get value for my junkfood dollar, but geezus, even marathon runners don't need that many calories in one meal.

I see more senior citizens in Wendy's than in any other fast food chain. I guess they get good discount there, because it sure ain't the food.

Who the fuck plays a backyard house party with a half stack?

And a lit riser?
The same guy that decides to "shred up" Sweet Caroline. Dudes gonna read this and recognize me at next years annual August house party. They were good.

Wendy's > BK > McD's

Not sure where I'd put DQ on that list, it's been a long time since I've had anything from a DQ

Unless everybody later suffered a debilitating attack of bloody flux, this post is inconsistent with the community standards heretofore demonstrated within the context of this thread.

If you rearrange the letters in Dave's Double, it spells diarrhea.
Speaking of diarrhea, do you remember when Wendy's had the all you can eat salad bar with the spaghetti and mystery taco's? Chili too

I forgot to mention their singer ate a bad burger and had to hit the crapper
