How The Hell Did They Screw Up The Muppets So Badly?

EH, I watched. I am a huge Muppet fan since I was 5 and the first Sesame street episode aired.

I liked it fine. I wish it was a little bit more of "my" version of the Muppets, but even the last couple of movies seemed a little thin compared to what I knew before.

The original guys behind the cast were so talented that the new guys are good, but just seem a step off. If you know what I mean.

Still as funny as anything on that I have seen lately.

Wow. Makes me not want to watch it. And as a teen in the late 70's who found the late 70's TV show hilarious, I love the muppets.

One more lame comedy on network television. If it wasn’t a Muppet show nobody would even notice.

It was on here while I was in the room but I didn't really pay any attention to it.

I did hear a while ago that it was never intended to be for kids. My daughter wanted to DVR it for the grand kids and I told her not to show it to them.

What brand of kids are they? Chevy, Ford, Pepsi?

I watched it.

It's nowhere near what the negative reviews have said. Little different because they are focusing on the backstage stuff much more than the skits, but I liked it.

I'm not bothered by the adult humor in general. I'm more bummed that it's not appropriate for kids. I wanted to watch it with my five-year-old, Nate.

Judging a show based on its series premiere is stupid, pure and simple. A weak premiere is characteristic of many shows that evolve into classics. Of course, it's also true of the worst shows ever... So let's reassess in a few weeks.

Rape scenes should always be difficult to watch.

But the Beauregard that I grew up with would never have done that.
The unflinching camera work didn't make it any easier, nor did the later reveal that Sam the Eagle had been watching the whole thing on CCTV.
