Hockey fans - thoughts on the playoffs?

I like watching some of the Europeans play to be honest...

That being said,Chicago has 14 Canadians on their team and The Bolts have 10...

I will say this......definitely the two best teams are left.

I know that sounds rather obvious, but many years, I don't think it works out that way.

I didn't watch the whole game (missed the entire 1st period). The talking heads were all saying that TB dominated for 55 minutes but I didn't see that. They may have dominated for 20ish minutes but the 2nd and 3rd were pretty much Chicago from what I saw (scoring chances wise). TB played that game before in some of the other series (being out possessed/shot for long periods of time). They got away with it because neither Montreal or New York have the horse power to score in bunches...Chicago does. They are going to need to change or it's going to be a short series.

And I'd rather see TB win (Only because of all the dynasty talk that will follow a Chicago win which is somewhat fair but a dynasty to me is winning multiple years in a row (think Edmonton, Montreal, Islanders in the old days)

I agree with your take on dynasties and such but multiple years in a row beyond 2 will be a near impossible feat. Look at the way that it used to be where if a team won they were still a contender the next year and repeats were common.

Bumpy...Game two is about to be...

Got all my chores almost done as to relax

Predictions?

I'm thinking a Chicago win....

Hawks gave that one away. While I am still happy that they stole home ice advantage, I'm disappointed because it could have easily been 2-0 Hawks going home if not for some bad mistakes on their part.

Gonna suck for Patrick Sharp knowing that in his last SCF with the Hawks, his dumbass back-to-back penalties helped lead TB to the game-winning goal in Game 2. He better make up for it before the series is over.

Now that I've watched it,(I recorded it), very interesting scenario...

I was sure the The Hawks would smoke them.

Again I missed most of it. Saw the last few minutes where the Hawks couldn't get any pressure to get a tying goal and TB couldn't get the dagger empty net

TB has played well on the road. But that was with Bishop and no one is saying what the deal is with him

that was a good game. The last 3 minutes the Hawks were under siege. There were a least a couple of golden chances that TB couldn't bury
'

I'm hoping for 3 more like it
