Bored of writing up my project still  I'm getting there though, I think :embarrassed: Still yet to write an abstract, introduction or conclusion, but the main bulk of it is done.

Right, guys... I'm not going to say too much. Don't get your hopes up, as mine aren't either. But, I've been talking to someone through YouTube, and I may have another guitar project on my hands soon. Three clues.

Beat to shit, bad damage (headstock break, finish sanded off, some other damage) in dire need of restoration to its former glory.

1953.

(ex) Goldtop.

I'll wait for him to get back to me. It all hangs on the price, and whether he'll ship it to the UK. But don't get your hopes up... mine aren't... but we're talking about it.

Anyway... tea is here! Bubble 'n squeak, roast beef, with a fried egg. Noms. And, by the way, the mint-coconut-chocolate-shortbread earlier was ORGASMIC

i am halfway through the critical evaluation, then i still have to write up the post-production stage. Am at 18,000 words at the moment :embarrassed:

then all there's left to do is creating a poster for my honours presentation, burn my work to a disk, print and bind my dissertation in duplicate and hand it in. easy peasy :thu:

The lamb is in the oven. :thu:

Thanks Mo. It'll come; I've got a couple of ideas that I'm quite liking as a jumping-off point, but it needs some working on. I have one section recorded as a starter that I like to think has a real Lowell George kind of feel to it; but it's too short and needs some development. I want to get something done before mrs_huge and I go down to Cornwall on Thursday, otherwise it'll be after the weekend. But it will happen. Probably.

PS: Is wah mandatory?

At the moment, for me, it appears to be.

So, do any of you fuckers play the drums?

:embarrassed:

:embarrassed::embarrassed:

I do. Of course my kits are 3500 miles away as the crow flies :embarrassed:

I have a perishing thirst too. No refreshing lager beer but I do have some refreshing grape juice baed beverage that might quench my thirst :)

Last day of term 2 tomorrow and my weekend is racking up thusly:

Finish up at 11. Eat tonights left over kebab for lunch. Getting absolutely monged tomorrow afternoon / evening, dying on Thursday then flying off to Cairo for a week on Friday.

Life is beautiful :)

Pickup thoughts? rotflmao

Sorry, Turm. But, dude, we're talking a '53 Goldtop here. New pickups? You serious?

I wouldn't get your hopes up. If it is a genuine body the guy will still want a fortune for it and it'll cost a shitload to restore properly.

Don't let the fact it's a "vintage" piece cloud your judgement. It has a lot of potential to be a junker money pit.

This is why I didn't want to say much.

It's under control, man. We're just talking at this stage. Jeez...
