I saw a can of Spotted Dick at the grocery store this weekend. I'm intrigued, but afraid to google the name from work to find out what it is.
 
Nothing good can possibly come from having your spotted dick in a can. It is a potentially delicious pudding of stodge and fruity sweetness. Best made over a wood fire under canvas. Possibly with a woggle.
 
Afternoon chaps. Turns out the woman that is trying to get me fired has the claws out for a bunch of other people including the boss so he's just compiling a dossier fo all her bullshit and whether it's to try and get her fired or not I don'#t know but I#ll gladly add my little bit :grin:
 
We ordered 2 "proper" spotted dicks from some organic produce place over xmas, they were delicious with warm custard :love: :love:

This is actually quite entertaining compared to the usual shit. I've never witnessed pwnage of the level this woman got from me, my co-rodiator and herself in the meeting yesterday/
 
no, but i just ate a bag of pork scratchings and now i have developed this PERISHING thirst... I think i may have some of that refreshing LAGER BEER to rid me of my thirst :embarrassed:
 
Afternoon all. Just got in from a lovely ride to a steaming mug of tea, and some chocolate coconut mint shortbread. Basically, shortbread, but with mint on top. Covered in coconut. Covered in chocolate.

I will consume them, and get back to you. God bless my mother's innovative culinary prowess.

Thanks Mo. It'll come; I've got a couple of ideas that I'm quite liking as a jumping-off point, but it needs some working on. I have one section recorded as a starter that I like to think has a real Lowell George kind of feel to it; but it's too short and needs some development. I want to get something done before mrs_huge and I go down to Cornwall on Thursday, otherwise it'll be after the weekend. But it will happen. Probably. :wink:

PS: Is wah mandatory? :grin:
