Back to the quack today. Penicillin not working, so they are going to try a different antibiotic and have another look on Monday. Damned thing is bigger and sorer, but apparently not 'ripe' for lancing. It's beginning to feel like I'm growing a second head.

I spent the weekend in Boltenhagen, in the old DDR. Sadly I did not see lots of slav like men wearing those big fury hats that cover your ears. In fact it was pretty much like West Germany. It took us 3.5 hours to get there but I think we had the same bank holiday get away idea as the drive back took us a suicide/road rage/depression inducing 8 hours. 8 FUCKING HOURS IN ONE LONG SOLID TRAFFIC JAM WITH TWO UNHAPPY KIDS IN THE BACK!!!!!!

Nightmare. Still, the weekend was nice.
