Guitar Center opening location a mile from my house

Crazy. They are the only ones, besides locking ones, that I can do a good job with. Do you cut them and cram the end of the string down the hole in the middle of the split?

I try to bend them, and they always end up slipping out on me. Like several times.

I have bought plenty of stuff at GC over the years. We have one in the state I live. I usually wait til I visit RI and go to the one in Attleboro MA though - decent store, at least it has been for me.

I wouldn't let anyone in a GC near my guitar with the intention of setting it up.

i would go to the store and talk to the guitar tech and see how you feel about them. i wouldn't let the tech at my GC change my tire, let alone start twisting my truss rod. just sayin'
Absolutely agree. I'm lucky enough that there's an amazing shop close by. I've been going there 20 years and that always do top notch work at reasonable prices.

That's one in N. Attleboro is 3 miles from my house.

That's were I bought my MESA Express 5:25 when they were blowin' 'em out. You must be near my buddy who I go visit there. He's over in Lincoln (has a hunting camp up here). I don't know the address, but I could drive right to it, lol. I think it's off Great Rd? I get down that way about once a year... then I have to leave 'cause I can't take the big city for too long, lol.

Well, that was crazy. Elvis was there, as was the Washington Capitol's mascot.

And, for the record, I played Seven Nation Army on an American Strat into a Bassbreaker 15, along with about 30 of my neighbors playing different riffs at the same time.
