Give me something to watch on Netflix

I binged the entire season of Umbrella Academy on Saturday since my family was out of town. I loved it.
Had a hard time getting past dudes tiny head though. LOL

Just watched the trailers for Umbrella Academy. No idea what the hell is going on but visually it just looks stunning. Will definitely check it out.

I think the Mrs and myself are going to watch the first few episodes tonight or tomorrow night to see what we think.

Kate Micucci, Aubrey Plaza, Nick Offerman, John C Reilly, Alison Brie - has to awesome, right? Nope. The Little Hours is horrible. I mean really, really bad. I was going to liken it to a third year film student's class project, but it could only aspire to be that good at its very best moments.

I've always wondered if Aubrey Plaza is a genius, or just a really bad actress who happens to hit just the right roles. Now I know. She is, in particular, horrible in this movie.

I liked Dead in a Week. Not great by any stretch of the imagination, but pretty good. Kind of a grown up version of End of the F*cking World.

One more episode of umbrella academy to go. Really enjoying it. Hazel and Cha Cha definitely steal the show. Aside from Klaus, the umbrella kid plot line is about as interesting as a day time soap opera.

Has anyone watched Behind the Curve yet?
Yes.
Entertaining, but sad. I always thought flat earthers were a tongue in cheek sort of thing - kind of like the flying spaghetti monster religion. Nope, they are serious as a heart attack.

It was particularly sad when Patrica Steer was commenting how nutty it was that the other flat earthers had launched all sorts of conspiracy theories about her and were oblivious to contrary facts. Then, it dawned on her that perhaps she was doing the same thing about a flat earth.

Nah...

So close, so close.

Haven't watched yet. Just want to see if it's worth it.

Anyone watching Norsemen? It’s sort of a Vikings meets The Office. Very low-key, dry humor. I was just curious what it was, and I find myself enjoying it. It’s not the funniest show ever, but it has its bright spots.

Umbrella Academy is pretty good, too. I’m about 4- 5 episodes into it. I felt like it was a slow start, but it finally feels like it is getting going.

Started it. It’s biased toward round so I’m not sure if flat earthers don’t have anything at all to support their claim or if it is underrepresented. I’m only 1 episode in. I wish there was something so compelling that I had to consider it. 1 thing. Seems like a mocumentory.

Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries. A great mystery show set in 1920s Australia.

The whole fam watched the Umbrella Academy and enjoyed the hell out of it.
Wife and I watched Russian Doll and were really digging it until the last episode. I didn't like how they finished it.

Whilst I really enjoyed Russian Doll I've figured out what bothered me about it. The lead actress is hot but her mannerisms, and especially how she carries herself and walks, remind me a lot of Steven Van Zandt. Stupid sexy Little Steven :embarrassed:

Not to mention the fact that those are her mannerisms in every role she has ever played.

We watched the new Jimmy Carr special. Wow. Just wow. So much *wrong* in one hour. This guy is absolutely off the rails when it comes to dark, disgusting humor - but somehow his delivery skills let him pull it off.
