Concerts - Favorite of 2016 and Looking Forward To 2017

I saw them probably in the late 70s at Painters Mill Music Fair in Baltimore; a smaller venue. I remember the bass would vibrate right through you. John Palumbo was in fine form. I really dug them back in the day.
My buddy saw them last year without Palumbo, who had health issues. Said it was great show nonetheless.

Well, the King Gizzard show was outrageous. A peyote dance party! If they come through your town, I highly recommend you check them out!

Just had a little scare. Tom Paxton fell backwards down an escalator in Penn Station last week. He's 79 years old; luckily the only damage was a broken headstock on his Martin. So it looks like things are still on for May here in Northampton.

David Gogo is doing a solo acoustic tour across Canada, but when he gets here he's doing a full band thing with a local house band.
Free admission at a place with really good food.

May be seeing Boz Scaggs here in H-town on June 12th. I've seen him thrice, and he's always put on a great show with serious pros as his backing band (Drew Zingg, Jon Herrington, Matt Bissonette, Michael Bluestein).

Hope my buddy who likes Boz is available.

Richard Thompson Acoustic tonite. Going with my mum and step-dad, who don't care about stage proximity, so unfortunately we're in the very last row of the balcony it looks like. But theater holds sub-1000 so it won't be too bad.

Iron Maiden is the only confirmed show.
A few smaller shows within a couple hours drive.
Junior Brown
Robert Randolph
Primus
Lucero
and Richard Thompson also.

Pains of Being Pure at Heart in June.
Hooray for the Riff Raff in a couple weeks.

Let's hear it for the unwieldy bandnames tonight.
