Aaaaaand, there it was. If there is one thing worse than a banjo or accordion, it's a college marching band playing seven nation army.![]()

Mike Shanahan apparently decided to leave Notre Dame in the game.
I am glad you laughed Chad. I, though being a Seahawks fan, nearly cried when I saw that knee buckle. I had been saying they needed to get him out of there. No slight toward RB3 or the 'Skins intended. The "Skins are probably the other team in the league I like best right now.
When I was a kid, the Skins were one of the best teams in the NFL every year. For the last 20 years they have been a joke and every time they start to look like they know what they are doing again, they do something stupid like leaving RG3 in when he was obviously injured. Reports are now saying he may miss the 2013 season.
Oh that is hiorrible!! I really hope that is just post-game hype and speculation while the press piles on Shanahan and not true. I watched some of those games back then too. l also still remember seeing Theisman's leg breaking over and over again.
Same here. To this day whenever I see a highlight clip come on and I see giants redskins and no. 7 I immediately look away.My dad and i were watching that game when it happened. Cringeworthy.
Fuck Ohio State with a rusty broken dildo.

SEC (and the ACC) were not so superior last night. Things change over time I guess. Reviving this because I remembered this playoff discussion some time ago. Glad to see playoffs happening, and glad to see some results.I'm not complaining about fair. That's what everyone else is doing. I'm just telling you reality. If everyone wants to see an undefeated Rice Owls team play in a playoff and lose by 150 to an Alabama/LSU/Florida/Oklahoma/Ohio State who ever, fine. I don't care, but it's a total waste of time.
Do you want to know why the SEC is so much better than everyone else right now? Here it is:
-players look at college as a audition for the NFL
-the SEC has twice as many nationally televised games as everyone else every Saturday
-The SEC sends more player to the NFL than any other conference
-All of the schools feature warm weather year round.
-who wants to play with snow up their ass for half of the season
-coeds at warm weather school wear less clothing (yes it matters, remember when you were a freshman)
-SEC schools get their pick of recruits with a very few going to some others, and everyone else get who's left over.
