Can we appreciate the triumph of Triumph as a group experience?

Doesn’t ring at all. And I’m one of those people who remembers almost any song I’ve ever heard.
When I got a record player a while back, I went through and listened to all these old records I had. Found this record by a band called Fools Gold. It was my uncles and didn’t think I’d ever heard of them. Put on the record and knew every song. It had been at least 40 years since I’ve heard it, but I knew it all. These Triumph songs don’t click at all with me.
seriously ...you must've been living under a rock if you listened to rawk radio between 1980 and 84. Triumph was all over it as much as ZZ top, Survivor, Hall n Oats or the previously mentioned ones. You could not escape it.

Can vouch for @Chad that DC rock radio didn’t give a damn about Triumph in the early 80s. I only know of them from MTV and I’m 52.
wow...all I can say is DC rock radio was not rock back then. What were they playing out of curiosity? I mean our rock station had a show on Sunday nights that played Black Flack, Dead kennedy's, JFA, all that stuff but the rest of the week it was classic rock which at the time was contemporary rock. I'm sure they were playing Triumph in California too...perhaps triumph just weren't an east coast thing.
