Just finished reading a biography on Stuart Adamson from Big Country.

The guy was from Stuart's hometown so it did get a bit fawny / hero worshippy at points but it was a really good read.

Trying to batter through Max Hasting's Catastrophe! Europe Goes to War in 1914 before my holiday in 2 weeks.

The album cover/clothing does project that. They actually create a mix of early 70's rock with a twist of psychedelia, infused with modern heaviness. The vocals are really emotive and soulful.

I'm STILL reading "The Martian."

Since I don't ride the bus any more it takes me forever to read a book... I'm really enjoying this one though.

I'm only on page 68 so far. It gets better, especially chapter 6.

Re-reading The Rift War Saga by Raymond E Feist.
Looking into free e-books for my hospital stay in 2 weeks.
Plan on Sherlock Holmes,Hemingway,Steinbeck.
I already have The Devine Comedy,and The Prince.

Don't give up on it. I'm past halfway in it and the story really ramps up. You will really like the main character as the story develops.
