Despite my obsessive communication with the venue and corporate good boy attempts to be organized, the venue told me yesterday that the show now starts at 9pm.

I love this place and the people, but I can see why a smutty satanism themed brewery run by aging waistoids is going out of business. Should’ve hired a bunch of McKinsey consultants to optimize some SOPs up in this bitch.

So how did the gig go?

It was fun. I got there about 8, met Peen in the alley behind the brewery and was allowed to park there all night which was nice.

After I loaded in I found my lady and our friends. After the time change they all came out to hang and then split at a decent hour.

The crowd that stuck around for the music was good, lots of hipsters, lesbians and Satanists in the house.

Black Magick Marching Band was solid as usual. So solid that our bass player let us know the next day that he listened to the full band recordings and like the lush arrangements. Very mysterious too as they performed on a darkened stage.

League if Eric’s were fun and driving. Kicked the evening up a notch.

Human Trials were a pleasant surprise. I thought they were a punk duo. They weren’t they were a unique rock solid drums/bass proggy rock duo with a monster skin pounder. They kicked ass.

We closed out the night starting at 11:37 played for an hour. Not our best offering but not horrible either. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday night/Sunday morning.
