Over paid is standard for anything these days....get over it. It is what it is. They got lucky, more power to 'em if they can make that. I haven't watched any college baseball or H.s. or little league but I'm guessing it's the same game game. Steroid freeks ....not really sure who/what game yer watching or even what era? Is doping still an issue? ...

I am with you on Golf but you lost me with NASCAR..."at least there are crashes"....so yer saying a 5 second crash with the 20 minute delay for clean up is less boring than baseball...really ? I'm sorry but I can't take you seriously anymore.

Dude ....I have been bleeding black and Orange religiously...faithfully like the Journey song for ever. I don't waver. I'm a die hard, the guy who watches till the end even if it's a 8-1 blowout. Fucking Doochebacks will win like 25 in a row and then they lose 3 out of 5 and fans stop going....they are fair-weather at best, I ain't one of them

I’ve been to several major league games. Almost nobody was actually watching the game, they just showed up to socialize and network, and they left early.

Some stadiums are like that, Chavez Ravine for one. Show up in the 3rd and leave in the 7th.

You won't see that shit at ATT.

This might be odd, but for me baseball was always better on the radio than Tv.

Probably has to do with my dad and both grandpas always having it on a little transistor radio during those idyllic summer days of childhood.

Not necessarily better, but baseball is a game you can have on the radio or tv and listen without watching if the team has decent broadcasters.

MLB is a game of chance.

Sure, you can increase your chances, but in the end.....it's a game of chance, not skill. JMHO.

If you can influence the odds it's a game of skill *and* chance. C.f. poker.

I like base-ball, but MLB in NL is an expensive Fox Channel for legal TV and politics, timezones and money conspire to make that unlikely, and the MLB app is just too expensive for the amount I'm likely to watch. Which is not to say I don't price it up sometimes.
