Enjoyed last night very much. Best part was Nunez's look of incredulity ... "I hit a home run? I hit a home run? Wow!"

Still waiting for either Betts or Martinez to have a strong game.

The bums are showing their true selves.

I'm thinking the 2019 bums will be without Kershaw or Dave Roberts.

Kinda keep it on the bureau, then put it on for the games. Decided last night that was bullshit, we went down 2-1, decided 'why not,' rapidly went up 4-2, and this is how an idiotic superstition (which I know has zero meaning except that it's my little security blankie) gets started.

Plus it's a really cool shirt, commemorating the 100th anniversary of Fenway Park and a gift from my late Mom.

I agree. I read that when DR went to the post game interview their were legions of LA (fairweather) "fans" yealling at him "You suck Dave Roberts"......notyhing more Dodger "fan" than that, no loyalty.

Been enjoying reading the hand wringing from NY and LA based media. The Red Sox aren't any good, you see, there's just been some sort of cosmic mistake that keeps preventing the better team from winning.

In the meantime, if you'd like a really good reason to root for the Red Sox, here's one: After going 3 for 4 in Game 2, Mookie Betts stopped off at the Boston Public Library (famous congregation point for street people due to large amount of grates in sidewalks there) and fed the homeless.

You really can't make the Saint Mookie story any better at this point.

I'm in the strange position of rooting for the Sox. Mainly based upon "the enemy of my enemy is my friend".

Of course LA and NY media will be rooting for the bums, but why read it?
 
I think HIAR had it right when he said "sports journalism" (land yacht? death benefit?) was no more than a boys' gossip column. The narratives are simplistic and absurd.

Which is ok, now and again. @#($*&%& Machado, etc.
