I love the look of a strat and the sound when someone else is playing one. I’ve owed a bunch of them but I can’t make then sound good.

I can't make any guitar sound good so that's not really an excuse

My first electric was a MIM strat that I bought because I found it the most comfortable to play of all the guitars I tried (and I tried a bunch). I still have it and put SS frets on it since I liked it so much. I locked down the bridge though and have never used the trem. It's still in the original bag somewhere

I'm a big fan of the strat, especially one with a humbucker in the bridge. I have five of them, more than any other kind of guitar, suggesting that I have a bit of an obsession.

Obsession? Or just discerning good taste and sense?
