I’m the same way with Les Pauls.

I haven’t owned a Strat for at least 10 years now. I may build a Warmoth 7/8 Strat (if my 7/8 Tele body ever sells).

To be clear, I am talking about the body type. I don't care what you load it with. That is one of the other cool things. Those with enough room in the routed out areas can be anything you want with different pickguards and pots. I am no traditionalist in that way.

I use my whammy as swing-away pick storage.

I have a a bar to my normal strats around somewhere....

My Chapman has a Hipshot trem that stays in tune and doesn't flop the bar around, the bar is in that one.
