Just got off the phone with Greg. He's psyched about working on the guitar. I'm having him do a refret as well as the refinish and reassembly. This thing is going to be awesome when it's done. Greg was marveling at how light the guitar is. Not all that common for a Custom. He says it's going to have a great mid-range sound to it; not shrill. Sounds great to me.

received this picture from Greg earlier this afternoon. the top guitar is an actual '68. the bottom guitar is a 2012. mine is in the middle of the shot. when completed, the finish color should end up looking more like the '68 above.

I really like those vintage tuners on the real '68. Those would look sharp on yours.

Thank you! It will have the original gold hardware which is no longer gold because all the plating wore off long ago. It will have the same keys as the '68.
