I just finished recording some bass and guitar tracks for our new song. I'm getting some weird string pop coming through on the rhythm guitar track. I'm using my Zoom G3 for the amp model. On the final track I'll be micing my amp so I'm not terribly worried about it but its really annoying trying to get that pop out.

So I sold my Kustom V15. I think I actually made money on this one. Hoorah!

Nice, Woody. I love my V15. It's the amp that I use the most.

Oh yeah - the V15 is great. The only reason I sold it was because of the Laney LC15r, that has higher gain, and I do like the 3 tone knobs as opposed to one tone knob. But the V15 had a deeper tone I think. I mean they both have strengths - I just prefer the Laney. Still love Kustom stuff though.

Bought some D'Addario Chromes hybrid flatwounds for the bass. I'd like to get a flatwound like tone without the full deadened sound regular flatwounds can make.

X - Is that the one with HB's or P90. The Special w/ HB's was my go to for a few weeks. The last thing I acquired usually is. I just switched off to my 3010 SE.

So I am determined to blow some of my bonus on gear. I am going to get a couple pedals, but nothing else is screaming out to me. I am kind of enjoying this. I see MF has used Squier Vintage Modified Jazzmasters, and I am tempted by one of those. Different from anything else in the collection.
