Afternoon

So I had the day off I drove a used Volvo S80 today. The car has the same engine as the S80, and is lighter, but did not seem faster. It was almost like the turbo was not working. The only thing I can think of I did not have the accerator floored long enough for the turbo to spool up. I might have to drive it again. Odd.
 
Ditto's aren't available yet. :mad: I've been trying to find one, and all I get is "We should hear something soon, it just got shown at NAMM and may not be ready until April". :mad:

Today I was off, due to this being my Tuesday - Saturday week, so I did a whole lot of nothing. Been in the basement for two hours playing the Epi LP through the Blues Jr. Heavenly.

Woody, I saw that AMS deal before you posted about it...:facepalm:

I also saw something flash today at MF that I'm taking a HUGE flyer on :facepalm::facepalm:...but if it works out...DANCING-banana

I was interested, too, but since I also wanted a good delay as well, I went ahead and got the Flashback x4. Awesome pedal, and I haven't even scratched the surface :eek:

Morning

WFH today. I have an internal job interview in about an hour. By phone.

In Sheltie News: We talked with the local foster Mom last night, and we are going to meet the rescue Sheltie, Skye, Wednesday after work. The dog is 1 1/2 + years old, and sounds like he has been doing really well with the foster family.

Still kind of stewing on what to spend some of my bonus money on. My wife had this idea that we should get new a new Stove or dishwasher. Just to update the kitchen a bit, but seeing there are no special deals out there right now,I think we are going to wait another year or two.

Morning. My work week Monday. It's really windy and kinda cold, but at least I have no calls...yet.

They just announced some additional 2013 Rush dates DANCING-banana. Gonna try to hit a presale today before my daughter wakes up, sees the email, and starts hounding me by text :rolleyes::grin:
 
I'm preparing for an "Overcoming Bad Habits" workshop in a little while. Probably won't be quite as much fun as last week's Stress Management one. :grin:
 
So I think I did OK on the Job Interview. Toward the end I asked if the interviewer saw any gaps that would prevent him from pursuing me as a candidate,andhe said he did not. But we got pressed for time and had to end the interview. Later I got an email from him that said they would be in touch in a week or twofor next steps. I did not see that as especially promising - although they could be just taking their time with placing someone. On the positive side he said they have more than one position.

I have found some place heave a ridiculous amount of time between first and second interviews. Hang in and good luck!
 
Thanks Gary. I have a job now with the same company that I don't loth. So it's all good.

Well after stewing on it for a few days, I found a piece of gear that I think is a good deal, and pulled the trigger. Pics to follow in a few days.
