Happy Friday!

I'm spending the day with my Brother and his wife out from RHode Island today so I'll be pretty scarce around here.

Back in the offices. I have my job review today-but my (fairly new) boss told me what to expect. S/B good in the important areas. Valentines dinner with Mrs Woody Sat or Sunday.
 
Going to pick up some pizza and a salad and head over to my new lady friend's place for dinner and some guitar playing.
 
Bought 3 whiskeys today. I managed a small sip of the Four Roses Small Batch, and man is it smooth and delicious! A very refined bourbon it is. The Booker's is a whole 'nuther beast! It has a seriously powerful burst of flavor.

Booker's is yummy. I haven't tried the others.

I tried Basil Hayden last night. I may have found a new favorite. I also tried Redbreast Irish whiskey. Very, very yummy stuff.

The Redbreast is very yummy indeed.
I'll try a glass of the Four Roses tonight, but with just one sip, it is potentially on track for the finest bourbon I've ever had.

Being on an all out buying freeze kinda sucks. Oh well, I'll live vicariously through others na/g/b/pd* threads.

So I had my performance review today. I was ranked "Solid Performer" which is OK. I got a small raise, also OK. But I got the biggest bonus I have ever received anywhere. Very OK w/ that.
 
Congrats on being solid Woody.

I got my review a couple weeks ago but I don't know what I'll get for a raise until April 1. Not quite sure how I feel about pay raises on April Fools Day but I'm expecting another decent bump.
 
So I'm looking at bass amps. I would kind of like a combo rather than a head and cab. Not really sure what to look for in a bass amp. To be honest they all sound about the same to me at least all of the decent ones.

I'm guessing you are looking for something for home to practice with. I wouldn't gig with less than 500 watts.

I bought an Acoustic B20 1x12 combo, which sounds great with a decent range of tones and styles. They run $149 at GC.

I want something that I could gig with if need be. One of my criteria for gear is would I gig with it. I did check out an Acoustic B100. It sounded pretty good but I'm thinking more like 300 watts. I have really only played bass for recording and small jams so amps has alway been plug into what ever is there.

Monica - you know if I got another tele it would be a Reacted. I have thought about the CORT, but that is going to be awfully close to the M600 I already have. So not sure...
