I wonder how much a service is on that.
I would love to be so rich that I could buy this, wear it for a year to piss off collectors, then go the Vacheron Constantin factory in person to drop it off for service. It would probably take them six months to get it apart and put it back together.

I'm a bit of an idiot, so I have no idea what time that watch shows -- or is it (I guess this question is really for Flamencology) actually a watch that shows what phase the moon is in?
This one forumite I was talking to felt that Flamencology views numbers and obvious big hands and little hands on a watch, much the same way he views fretboard dots. If you must, a notch on the side of the neck will suffice.

This same un-named forumite took a guess that the bird closer to the outer diameter of the watch, represents the big hand.

This guy once borrowed a compass from Flamencology:

I wonder what his compass looks like?
Juicy, behind the scenes, gossip regarding watches and time. It does not rise to the level of John D MacDonald's book, The Girl The Gold Watch & Everything, nor even the cheesy movie staring Robert Hays and Pam Dawber. Oh well.

Even birds and moons can be right twice a day. ⌚
