So, um....can we have introductions from all the new guys?

The first couple of Zorn/Patton collaborations never really did anything for me, but I really enjoyed the most recent one:

In that case, feel free to introduce me

Hi, I'm Kyle from KY. I'll eat things that the U.S. government has considered weaponizing. I've got 2 great kids and a cool wife, but I usually post photos of my stable of PRS. I taught the forum how to get the gear they are after using just a little bit of trade bait. I also have quite a fondness for fine Bourbon. I've got a kickass Marshall I've posted vids of around here somewhere, but I'm a bit shy playing around other guys.

How'd I do?

OK, I'll be somewhat serious for a minute. :embarrassed:

I'm Kenneth, 36 and located in a small town called Vinstra in the southeast part of Norway.
Started as a drummer at 10 and picked up guitar at 15, since then also vocals, bass and occasionally keyboards at gunpoint. :embarrassed:

One of the 3 one-man bands here, the others being Prages and micwalt.

One of the very few here who dig good old prog rock, as well as classic metal, some folk and "classical" music (got classical training in both percussion and vocals).

Pretty damn good, actually....

I'm Matt, I'm 24, I play the piano, drums, and guitar, mostly. Also cello and sax, but not so well.

I'm about two months away from handing in my Ph.D. thesis, which focuses on Martin McDonagh and Conor McPherson.

Household consists of myself, my wife (age 25), our 3 kids (ages 0, 0, 3), my sister-in-law (age 22), my brother-in-law (age 13), and our 3 dogs (1 husky, 1 Jack Russell, 1 black lab)... 4th dog on the way later this month (soft-coated wheaten terrier).

I'm also a landlord, which is basically a big part of what finances all of the above.

Listen to lots of stuff, mostly what those of us in the know refer to as "awesome music"; late-20th and 21st-century jazz and 'classical'.

Hobbies include running, swimming, rowing, watching movies, reading, and cooking.

For some reason this is really appealing to me at this moment in time. I haven't listened to Marc Ribot since Rootless Cosmopolitans but this is great.

The beauty of Zorn is that he's super-prolific, super-eclectic, and runs his own label. Not many people could do something like that, and something like this at the same time:

I'm Terry. I also tinker with guitars more than I play them. Probably why I suck still after almost 4 years. I am 41, married, 2 daughters, 2 dogs and a cat. I'm in heavy truck parts sales. I live about 40 miles northwest of Charlotte, NC but grew up in NJ. Sorry ChiliDog, I am a huge Devils fan too. I planned on migrating here from HC eventually for some lessons so here I am. Can't play worth a crap but I love guitars anyway.

I really enjoyed that, too. That bass figure is going to stay with me all day.

Yo.

I'm actually a Dave, and in live near (not in ) Denver with my wife and three kids - my oldest is in the Marine Corps in So Cal right now. I'm old. I'm a strummer who weakly attempts some lead playing occasionally. I play in a country/country rock band though that is not my preferred genre of music. I also dp the tenor BGV in the band a a few lead vocals as well. I also play a bit of bass.

No dogs, though we do have two house rabbits......

I'm 12Pack. I'm looking for someone who likes long walks on the beach, can cuddle on the couch with a movie on some nights and doesn't mind dessing up for dinner or wearing jeans and a tshirt. You must be educated, have a job and athletic built. It's not that I'm shallow it's just that looks have to have some little bit of chemistry. I drink socially and don't smoke and don't have any baggage - you be the same. Your pic gets mine.
