Lol. Maybe? Anyway, my geek knowledge doesn't transfer well. I tried to set up a MIDI recording thing in the late 90s, and it was a disaster. I never managed to record anything and I wasted a pantload of money on various MIDI crap that is in a closet somewhere. I understand it had become much easier (and cheaper) to do these days, and I have played around with the idea of getting one of those cheap USB type guitar interface devices. I've seen them as low as 20-30 bucks.
Oh yeah, maybe some more details....
My name is Tim, and I am 40 years old. I have a wife and two kids. I live in Palm Beach, Florida right now, but I am probably going to move to either California or Massachusetts in the next year or so. I'm a scientist/university professor and my area of work is in virology and x-ray crystallography. I've played guitar on and off since 1984 or so, without accumulating much in the way of chops or abilities. I've played in bands in college and graduate school, but I am a bedroom player these days. I have 14 guitars, including the only modern Les Paul Howie finds desirable. I use this power to get him to do my evil bidding.
