Hmm.. It's nice and big and high gain and not super modern/tight, but it doesn't have that full on chainsaw-y grind HM2 thing to my ears.

Speaking of HM2 inspired pedals, I got one of those TC electronic HM2 clones that I think wok mentioned a while back and it's great!

yarrr, I've been eyeing the KMA Wurm (but I really don't need another hm2)

(the TC electronic version actually has less control over the EQ - it's permanently set as if both the knobs on the original were fully dimed)

Ha! I love mine. To me it's just that tad bit different that it isn't an exact copy, but it does still sound filthy as fuck. I found that turning down the gain on the pedal and using a bit of the amps gain gives the best sound

that's exactly what I've been doing - all the chainsaw yet you can still palm mute and it's not just a fuzzy crackly fart (not that there's anything wrong with that..)

ps Does anyone know what's coming out of the headstock? I bought this pretty early on in my music buying career and I've always wondered. Looks like electrical wire *spits* Always thought that was an iconic strap and tasty strat too.

This guy relly goes into details, with the pink noise graphs and all... it's niche porn.
