Speaking of HM2 inspired pedals, I got one of those TC electronic HM2 clones that I think wok mentioned a while back and it's great!
that's exactly what I've been doing - all the chainsaw yet you can still palm mute and it's not just a fuzzy crackly fart (not that there's anything wrong with that..)Ha! I love mine. To me it's just that tad bit different that it isn't an exact copy, but it does still sound filthy as fuck. I found that turning down the gain on the pedal and using a bit of the amps gain gives the best sound
I saw Ola's videos, some of them at least.I watched his videos which are pretty interesting. I would also recommend Ola Englund testing the HM-2, the dreaded MetalZone and he also does a comparison between the HM-2 and the Behringer HM-300
