That song is a major reason why Collins is one of my biggest drumming influences though.
If you ever googled "how to groove in 7/8" this should come up as the first choice. :wink:

After repeated listens, I've decided I prefer too many zooz to moon hooch. The drummer is more straight ahead UNF UNF UNF in a way I like, and the trumpet adds a nice texture that's missing without it.

Moon Hooch has gotten experimental with their sound over the past few years, incorporating a Moog Voyager and vocals with uneven results. They're still great, it's just different now. And I prefer them to Too Many Zooz by a wide margin. But the two bands together bring out the best in all of them.
 
I have no clue. I’m at my daughter’s dance competition. Some kind of techno/hip hop over and over again.
