ok, ErnestI worry about you, my dear friends.
A good pen gives sanctity to reasoned thought and justification for its utterance.

My dad carried a Mont Blanc when he work for UPS as a Division Manager. He had the fountain. I remember he wouldn't accept anything else to write with. I wonder if he still has it. I remember it being pretty damn expensive.my standard work pen is a Montblanc, but the lowly rollerball and not fountain.
my dad left me his, and it was pretty expensive. (see page 1) i don't use it very much, though. My dad carried a Mont Blanc when he work for UPS as a Division Manager. He had the fountain. is that a Mont Blanc with a snake on it?

yeah that's a pretty nice pen. I also like the Papermate Profile.Since I predominantly write with my left hand (I'm ambidextrous, but my handwriting with my right hand is worse than my horrible handwriting with my left) I save the well tip pens for when I'm doing artwork (plus ink splatters, brushes, and those teeny tiny roller wheels are so much fun when inking a piece
) so for my day to day I always use....

Pilot G2 Gel pen. Most places only carry the 0.7mm which can still smear because of the amount of ink on the page... the ultra fine 0.38 has been known to scratch a few pages because it's too sharp.
Like goldy-locks, the 0.5mm tip dries about as fast as I can write, is easy to grip, but doesn't leave black smears all of the page (and the side of my palm) like 99% of other pens do.
i've got those ^^ in blue at both my desk at the office and my work from home desk. they're great for making lists and marking up plans, etc.![]()
my favourite pens in the world. I buy the big pack at Costco that comes in Black and Blue with a couple of Red. Workhorse for prep lists in the kitchen, perfect for writing something out for a student; I've got them tucked everywhere.
I do not miss using a fountain pen and probably haven't used one since grade school. I don't use a pen for much more than taking notes at work, or filling out the occasional form. My pen of choice is whatever is in our office supply bin. Sadly, none of them are of the girls clothes coming off variety.

BLUE? Fuck man.... Black Pens or NOTHING.
The only time I would ever touch a blue pen is if I was planning on scanning it and masking out the blue.
every try to mark up construction plans with a black pen?
good luck finding what's marked up!!
and we always sign plans in blue also. because if a copy is make the signature looks a little fuzzy and people know they're looking at a copy not the original.
i don't even know if i HAVE a black pen. survey markers, yes, but not pens.
