Yeah - that's a head-scratcher for sure!

it's almost as if it's "learning" how to be more lethal.Yeah - that's a head-scratcher for sure!

Or (perhaps more likely given the experience of the "Spanish" flu), SARS-COv-2 will mutate itself into a non-deadly, merely annoying form that will continue to pester humanity for generations...
Did they tell any of you to do/don't do certain things after getting the vaccine? I've heard some people from Canada say there was an advice to not do any physically heavy activities or whatever for 3 days after etc. Here you just get the thing and on your way, unless you feel some side effects, no further do's and don'ts whatsoever.
Nothing here. Just a warning that you might feel crappy the next day. I was fine. My wife felt sick for about 12 hours.
the only thing i was told to do BEFORE the shot, an hour before the shot was to drink 16-20 oz of water, both times.Did they tell any of you to do/don't do certain things after getting the vaccine? mojo dudeIt took about 10 days for my strength to return after the second Pfizer dose.
Since then, I had extensive lab work and we discovered that I have an elevated ANA level (Antinuclear Antibody, 1:320 titer), which means I'm positive for an autoimmune disease like Lupus, for example. I'll be working with a rheumatologist next week to further diagnose and treat whatever it is.
This explains why I'm in so much pain and can't exercise much anymore. Knowing sure beats not knowing.

Well, the vaccine reaction didn't reveal anything new, it just impacted me longer than it should have. We were already trying to understand what's been going on with my health that started declining a few years ago. The same test given a few months ago would likely had the same result. I'm just glad we are zeroing in on it now.Interesting that the vaccine taxed your immune system to the point where an underlying condition came to the surface! Who knows - perhaps the vaccination saved your life, and NOT because of any viral protection!
Nice to know the vaccine actually works.
Our step-daughter lives with us half time, and her Dad half time. Someone on the Dad's side of the family (either her Dad or Grandfather) have been very anti-vax as far as Covid goes. I can respect that - but you are taking a chance. Saturday we received a call saying that our Step-daughter needed to come to our house early because her grandparents on the Dad's side both were hospitalized with probably Covid, and they wanted her to stay with us since other family members had contact with them and they wanted to keep her out of the Covid spread.
So we picked her up - but too late. Her Dad and likely everyone else in the house all have Covid. We had our step-daughter tested and she is positive. But both of us are fine so the vaccine is working nicely. Unfortunately her Grandfather is in really bad shape. Very touch and go as to if he will survive this. Her Grandma is getting better slowly but is still in the hospital.
mojo.
did she get the vax, during times she was with you ?
