I've been to Ron's shop and seen his work up close.... it's pretty amazing. He was the first person I knew to be doing the hidden fret ends... he does all the non-dot inlay work for the Fender custom shop. He had a batch of Geddy Lee bass necks when I was there. And to top it off, he's one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.

I've visited his shop in Glendale as well. Very nice guy and man did he have some sweet guitars on hand. He's also a master inlay artist. I talked my wife out of one of the gold charms from her bracelet and he was nice enough to set some time aside on a Saturday to inlay it on the neck of my Taylor. I dropped it off and he had it done by the time I got back from lunch.
