The "Unsung Heroes" of guitar/rock music, etc....

Coralkong

Alien
I was chilling out.
Wife just left IN MY TRUCK to go to PA to go get my Dad and visit some family.
All of a sudden, I was melancholy.

So I started thinking,

Other than Alex Lifeson, who is that "Unsung" guy who just made it work....all the time, every time he picked up a guitar.

You know them........but they get very little credit.

then I watched this again, and it blew my mind all over again.....

So, who you holding?

Seriously though:

Doug Ott

Olof Morck

Thomas Youngblood

Karl Groom

Nick Van Dyk

I feel like Buckingham is getting his due respect now, but he seems to have been unsung in the day.

Dangerous Dan Toler
Jack Pearson
Louie Shelton

all these guys have been on records you have heard and love.....and you still don't know who they are.

Some years back I went on a hunt for Buckingham's guitar sound and researched to see what he used. Because of that I own a Boss OD1 which used with a LP Custom and a Marshall amp was his sound for those early Mac days. Recently I have been studying his fingerstyle technique along with learning a few of his songs.
