This is something we do in the G'n'g'ers thread at HCEG from time to time...just a way to get to know eachother a little better...

So...if you would...tell us something about yourself...

Your real first name and age
Marital status and number of children
Where you live
What you do for a living
Other hobbies beside music
Biggest musical influence
Number of guitars and amps owned (can cause some embarrassment)

so I'll get it started...

David, 46
Single, no known progeny
Bloomingburg, NY...in a house...
Parts delivery driver
Woodworking, firearms, golf...
Billy F Gibbons
7 guitars (5 electric, 1 acoustic, 1 bass)
6 amps...:embarrassed:

We did this once before and with all the new members it seems like a good time to do it again...so what I'd like you all to do is share a little something about your REAL self with the others...you are, of course, free to skip anything you feel is too revealing...

So, if you are willing, please tell us the following:

Your real first name and age
marital status and children
where you live
what you do for a living
your favorite food
hobbies

tell us who your favorite musicians are, who influenced you, why you play
your band and what your playlist looks like

tell us a bit about your equipment, pics are always welcome

what other forumites do you know, have met in person, talked to on the telephone

I'll start...

I'm david, 48 years old
Single no kids that I know of
Bloomingburg, NY (Orange County)
I drive a van
I like Italian, spaghetti, pizza, and my mom's meatloaf...
I do some woodwork, shooting, and reading...

I first heard Aerosmith when I was 10 years old, and the sound of Joe Perry's guitar hooked me for life...I went on to develop a taste for the blues and classic rock, as well as some jazz and Classic era symphonies...

My last band was in college, it was called Farmer Brown and the Livestock...I was a cow...we played a lot of Aerosmith, Zep, ZZ top, Ted Nugent, Nazareth, Black Sabbath...

This is my current line up of guitars...

...amps...

...and effects...

I've met Modern Saint (Randy) and Gary Blanchard face to face...I've spoken to Mark on Skype...I've talked extensively on the phone with Elias Graves, Diceman1000, Silverring223, and the late and very missed Zemmy...and I've had one memorable conversation with 12pack, who I wish would call me again...

OK, that's about it...your turn...

The Epiphones and Teles are gone, the Tech21 is for sale, and the ME70 has been replaced by about a dozen pedals...so I'm down to 4 guitars electric, 1 acoustic and 1 bass...

Amp now include an Ibanez TSA15H and a PRS SE30 head and a couple 1x12 cabinets in addition to my SCXD...

I attended Pragestock 2014 so now I've met a bunch of people face to face...

I now have a better job running the parts room in a Mitsubishi dealership...

...and I'm still the object of @Guitar Heel 's dreams...:embarrassed:
