Jerry! Good to see you!

I have a verbal commitment to sell 2 Heritages to a dealer in Japan that I found on TGP. His references check out. If all goes well, I will be shipping 2 guitars across the Pacific on Tuesday.

Not much else happening. I'm continuing to trim down my collection and make adjustments. I'll put some more guitars up for sale this week. But if I end up with what is currently in my collection, I'm fine with that. I'll still try to reduce but I doubt there will be many additions.

I've been toying with the idea of finding a tweed Champ Deluxe and replacing my Kustom. I'm looking for one that someone hand wired with point to point wiring. It can be a kit build. I seem to run across deals on hand built amps from people that are addicted to building every so often.

It's not. I agree. I've gotten rid of most of the low end stuff. I still have an Agile 3010 and a couple of Artcores. But the rest are Heritage, Carvin, Gibson, and parts builds. I'll also keep a Peavey USA Predator. I may sell one of those. I really don't need two. I found a Schecter Damien Special at a pawn shop a few weeks ago for a good price. I regretted selling that one so I bought it. It's a fun guitar to beat up.

Morning! to you stragglers...

Day off. Already got in bike ride. Gonna go for a drive with the Mrs., then grill some chicken.

You still have that blue Warhawk, PK?

I saw it listed on fleabay last week(?) I think.

Hey everyone! I have been in the pedal market again now that I have an amp that takes them real well. I picked up a Maxon OD808, a DD-7 (to sit next to my DD-6 and be used as a more dramatic delay), and a Boss NS-2. The board is coming along nicely.

...and I have now experienced the magic of Fender through Fender, it's kind of a big deal. I have heard people say that it is a special relationship and it is. My Mason with BG V60s sounds so incredible through The Twin.

Mixed day.

I sold another Heritage. This time I sold it to a Heritage dealer here in Chicago. I got close to my asking price too. That means that I sold all three Heritages that I had for sale within the last two days. So that's good.

On the way home, I blew a sidewall on a front tire. I was able to pull off the road safely. AAA came out to change the tire so I drove home on the doughnut. These tires have about 4 years of city driving on them. And they weren't expensive tires. Actually, I didn't know it at the time, but they were a Chinese made house brand. I knew they were a house brand. But I didn't know they were MIC.

I decided that I'm not going to risk another sidewall blowout. No place in the area had the size I need in stock. So I ordered a set of Eagle GT's from Discount Tire. They should come in this week. Till then I'll limit my driving.

I do love my Heritages. But I was up to 6. I only play 3 of them regularly. So I sold the 3 I rarely play. Now I'm trying to sell my Carvins. I just prefer the Heritages I'm keeping. I'll probably try to sell my Les Paul too.

A Twin is the shiznitz!
