Yup :) One of the originals, although he left them awhile back. He did play with them at the RRHOF ceremony last month.
 
Congrats on the offer Scott. I hope it works out.

I scored a good deal on a Egnator Rebel 20 which is now on it's way. I've been intrigued by the power scaling option for some time now.

X - I got a Tweaked 15 a couple weeks ago. Great amp. It sounds really good w/ the power tubes replaced w/ the Russian 6P3S tubes. I like it so much I have thought about a Rebel as a next amp. Let us know how you like it.
 
And once again, I walk away from an encounter with my family wondering why the fuck I even bother with them anymore.

No wonder my depression has been acting up lately. I went out to dinner to calm myself down. But I'm really tempted to just cut them all out of my life.

Been there myself. Now going on a decade later I find myself trying to rebuild these relationships. Cutting them off wasn't worth it looking back. My family is fucking crazy but they are my family none the less. I just keep true to myself and not let them get to me anymore.

PK, I suggest a "family diet". Like food items that aren't healthy, unhealthy family drama should be minimized as needed. Depending on how phucked up they are places them in the pyramid at the optimal place for your balance! :grin:

If you recall, I had a Tweaker and sold it. It was a good amp but I needed the money at the time. The Rebel seems cool with the different power tubes and all. Too bad it doesn't have built in reverb but my Holy Grail should take care of that.
 
The Tweaker being cathode biased, you can change out the 6v6 tube pair to EL34, 6L6, KT88, 6550, or 5881 for different flavors. There's enough room in the head, unlike the Rebel's smaller space. Otherwise, I like the Rebel quite a bit.
 
Family is already on a restricted schedule. I see them once a week. I can't handle any more than that.

Yeah - you know I think at the time my head was not really into a Tweaker. I had probably just bought something else. I actually was thinking of making an offer - but I think you had sold it.

Some people say power tubes don't effect tone much - but man those Russian Tubes were a big improvement. However one of the pair I got was bad - I don't even want to play the Tweaker until I get the replacement tube. Big change in thickness of tone. Those are TALL tubes - just barely fit in the Tweaker cab.
