When did plaid make a comeback?

A couple gear questions.

Was that a Soloway I saw in there? Also, tell me about the pinstriped Billy Bo.

Those are both mine. The Billy Bo is actually a limited run Doug Kauer did of his Big Boy, Jr. The body and neck are both Spanish Cedar. It has a big honking neck and a Powertron.

The Soloway is a Loon also built by Kauer during the year or so that Jim outsourced the building to him. Spanish Cedar hollow body and neck, maple top, and 36th Anniversary Dimarzio PAF clones. It is the most amazing guitar I've ever played. I'm a big Les Paul guy, and this feels and sounds like everything a Les Paul should be IMO.

I just got home. I had a great time as always. It was great to see everyone again, and meet some new people. Thanks again to the P's for opening up their home and putting up with us for another year. I'm looking forward to next year already.
