TEMP CHECK

Two days of ice storms. Went out this morning to scrape my wife's windows. While I was doing hers I fired mine up and turned on the defrosters. Worked great. By the time I got to mine the ice practically fell off. Finished and went to put the scraper in my car. Door wouldn't open. Only set of keys locked in the car. Tow truck time. They got it open. Getting another key. In the meantime I took the remote off my key ring and put it in my pocket where it will stay until I get a second key.

One to three inches of snow forecast for tonight to go on top of 1/4 inch of ice.

Snow all day yesterday. It’s warmed up to 13° this afternoon from 8° this morning.

We had rain, freezing rain, and ice pellets off and on all day today. School boards and many other places closed. College and university were open.
Honestly, the roads weren’t that bad. Neighbourhood streets weren’t great, but not impassible.
Other parts of the region were pretty rough though.

Forecast says high winds and more freezing rain tomorrow.

Yep... we were -48 wind chill days ago...

... then got up to a high of 57 YESTERDAY....

...which dropped to 11 this morning with wind chill of 3. In 12 fucking hours. It feels colder right now than when it wss -48. :(

It's the end of days here.
