Pedalboard build advice needed

I’m building my first pedalboard!

I picked up a Pedaltrain classic Jr., and a Pedal power 2.

I’ve got stuff sort of loosely arranged, but I’m finding I need to tighten up the placement of the pedals. I’m thinking I need some pancake connector patch cables to make the happen.

Here’s a pick of what I’ve got so far. I need to get my DC-2w on there yet, and i might replace the Twinble with a JHS Double Barrel. Ideally, i would like to eliminate the OCD.

Any advice would be great.

Looks great. If it all works and is comfortable that is all that matters. I don't get into the perfect Instagram boards that aren't functional. I like space between pedals for my big feet.

I just need to squeeze in that boss pedal.

I use the pancake cables from Reverb and then cables from Audioblast for longer runs.

You can get at least two if not three more pedals on that thing.

I would add that your pedal placement order and your signal chain do not have to match. Put the pedals in the order/spots where they are best suited to your needs and then route the signal chain accordingly.

My signal starts at the Crybaby, then the tuner, pitch shift, comp, noise gate, dirt pedals, modulation, delay, reverb, boost. As you can see, the pedal order does not reflect that at all. All the pedals with an expression feature are on the front row for best access.

Love the pedals!

Those flat patches are cool, but I’ve found that you can use normal cables, tucked underneath, if you stagger the placement of the pedals.

That is the spacing I like. I don't feel that I need a couple/few inches between pedals. But then again, I haven't been playing 3 hour cover gigs covering a ton of different styles all the time either.

What is the tidy whitey pedal about?
