Yup. When Maddow first tweeted the teaser annoucnment yesterday which said something like "We have Trump's tax return. Seriously. Tonight at 9 on my show!" it was reposted 15,000 times within an hour.

And indeed people were creamin their shorts. :rolleyes:

She's just a the loony deflector. He wouldn't care if it were a man or a woman. The only weight she has is that she was the first woman to (officially) run a successful Presidential campaign.

I find it horrible that people think she's good at deflecting, as it's so obvious and pathetic when she's doing it. The looniness it what works, which is equally horrible. She says some wacky shit and the news focuses on that instead of spending more time calling out not only dipshit mcghee...sorry President dipshittington, but also all of the Republicans that aren't speaking out against his and his administration's endless stream of bullshit.

Forget about how long it did or didn't take to draft the piece of shit, let's focus on how horrible it is. It literally provides the richest people...you know, those that either have incredible insurance and/or can cover the cost of their healthcare needs in a myriad of ways with $30K to nearly $200K in tax credits while fucking anyone and everyone else out of tax credits and coverage.

This is a terrifyingly obvious and blatant cow-towing to the 1% and its aspirants that has been presented in a bill...especially one related to entitlements for the poor.

Ryan is as big a piece of shit (don't know how I forgot to type that) as there is in DC. Dickhead the orange, Yurtle the fucking turtle (sorry Dr. S), and Ryan...the ides of March are upon us, is anyone taking action?

in a way, and possibly on purpose, it's almost genius how this admin. was set up. all the oligarchs that were appointed to the cabinet/secretarial positions, pence and ryan..... there's no way out of this web. take one out of the chain and the chain remains in tact anyway.
maybe it was coincidence how that was put together, but i doubt it. (Rule #39)

Plus imo, and certainly many others, Maddow throws around a bit more legitimacy and cachet than most newscasters. I don't think it wise to squander any of that (for it is hard earned) on something half baked. MSNBC could certainly have posted/broadcast "the news" but having Maddow do it, especially in that click bait ratings grab way they did, was a mistake.

Now maybe as others have suggested, it's just the tip of the iceberg and it's leading up to more, but regardless their execution was sloppy.

I watched at least part of that crap last night. It was ridiculous and awful. I hate Trump as much as most, but all that hoopla over a 2 page 1040 was just stupid. So much speculation on her part. Hell, the background image she used the whole time was a Russian flag. There was zero on his 1040 that had anything to do with the Russians. He might have ties with them, but that 1040 isn't a smoking gun.

It truly is pathetic. How much money does one person need? The people benefiting from all of this bullshit already have enough money to never work again. I don't understand how some folks operate.

they have so much money that no one will have to work in their families for 5 generations.

i've said it before, but i truely believe that the level of greed necessary to get into the multiple hundreds of millions, to billions is a real mental disorder. they just can't stop, and nothing matters more than more. it doesn't matter if their profit comes from others dying. tough shit. stop being poor. i'm telling you, it's a mental illness. megalagrinchiosis.
