Simmons IRL and public persona Simmons are completely different people. I only spent a couple of weeks with the tech crew back in '08, but that was clearly evident. Not saying that he can't be a dick, that he doesn't see KISS as being entirely his, or that he's super-commercial and cash-oriented. But he's a very generous 'anonymous donation' kinda guy.

Additionally, Paul Stanley has a really great rep among folks that know him. Very cool, very thoughtful...or so it is said.

The evangelistic right constantly whine about too much government in our lives, unless it involves limiting the liberties and rights of those they do not like or agree with.

Oh, and meet Chancellor Cheetolini's new Reich Minister of Propaganda, Kellyanne Conway. messedup0

Out of all of Trump's goons Conway was the one who most struck me as borderline sociopathic. Look forward to watching her gaslight the world for the next four (?!) years.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but haven't we had the capability to destroy the world several times over for decades even with arms reduction treaties?

President-elect Donald Trump signaled Thursday that he will look to "strengthen and expand" US nuclear capability, tweeting just hours after Russian President Vladimir Putin called for enhancing his country's nuclear program.

"The United States must greatly strengthen and expand its nuclear capability until such time as the world comes to its senses regarding nukes," Trump tweeted.

Hours earlier in Moscow, Putin said in a defense speech that Russia needs to "enhance the combat capability of strategic nuclear forces, primarily by strengthening missile complexes that will be guaranteed to penetrate existing and future missile defense systems."

Trump met with Boeing and Lockheed Martin yesterday. He's burning them down in the press over bloated projects while appealing to their core business. It's all a show.

Say what?

It's like that episode of Star Trek TOS when they say illogical stuff to make the robots' heads explode.

Is this a screen for something else that will drop soon? It's fucking horrifying that he thinks Twitter is an appropriate venue to discuss nuclear weapons capabilities, even if it's just a screen.

yea.....Curly meet Moe.

not to put too fine a point on it, but i doubt we could destroy the planet with our nukes. we could destroy the environment that we need to survive, but i'm pretty sure old mother earth would find a way to come back from a nuclear all out. just sayin'
