I'm meh on the aesthetics over all. Black is not a favorite finish on guitars for me, although a black maple-boarded Strat and LP Custom are wonderful looking instruments. My biggest gripe is building a compact cutaway that doesn't provide unrestricted access to all of the frets...what's the point?

Otherwise, kind of gorgeous.

My wife gave me a Collings 335-imitation and it's a really fun guitar to play. No practical application, but you could say the same for virtually every other guitar on the planet.
 
I think it looks hot.

That's about all I can think about it though, because at $12k, I wouldn't even take it off the wall to try it out. Why bother test driving it and possibly letting it wreck your relationship with any of your other guitars?
